Aims and Scope of the Journal

The Eniologie člověka journal focuses on the human being, consciousness, health, energy, the psyche, subtle structures, personal development, interdisciplinary knowledge and deeper connections of life.

Thematically, it focuses in particular on eniology, enioanatomy, eniomedicine and other enio-disciplines, as well as psychology, psychosomatics, a holistic view of health, pedagogy, biology, physics, philosophy, the spiritual dimension of the human being, personal development, information-energy connections of life and other areas that contribute to a deeper understanding of the human being.

The journal provides space for scientific, professional, popular science, practical and interdisciplinary texts. Its aim is to bring readers topics that broaden the view of the human being and connect different levels of knowledge – physical, psychological, energetic, informational, spiritual, social and natural.

Types of Published Texts

The journal publishes in particular:

  • scientific and scientific and professional articles
  • professional review articles
  • popular science articles
  • practically oriented texts
  • essays and interdisciplinary texts
  • reviews of books and professional publications
  • reports on events, lectures and projects related to the journal’s focus

Each text is assessed during editorial processing according to its character. Scientific and scientific and professional articles are subject to stricter professional requirements than popular science, practical or journalistic texts.

Editorial Policy

The Editorial Office accepts only texts that correspond to the journal’s focus and meet the basic requirements of originality, factual accuracy, comprehensibility and responsible treatment of the topic. The Editorial Office reserves the right to reject a text that:

  • does not correspond to the thematic focus of the journal
  • contains significant linguistic, stylistic or factual deficiencies
  • appears to be advertising or hidden commercial presentation
  • contains unsupported, misleading or risky claims
  • violates copyright or the rights of third parties
  • does not comply with the principles of publication ethics

Editorial revisions are carried out with respect for the original meaning of the text. Their purpose is primarily linguistic clarity, greater comprehensibility, readability and consistency with the overall character of the journal.

Peer Review Process

Scientific and scientific and professional articles undergo professional peer review. The purpose of the peer-review process is to assess the professional quality, factual accuracy, originality, methodological adequacy, work with sources and overall contribution of the article for the journal’s readers.

Peer review usually takes the form of an independent professional assessment by at least two reviewers. Reviewers are selected according to their professional competence, relation to the topic of the article and absence of conflicts of interest. A reviewer must not be employed at the same workplace as the author or co-author of the article and must not have a relationship with the author that could affect the objectivity of the assessment.

Reviewers are appointed by the Editorial Office or the Editorial Board. The author may suggest suitable experts to assess the text; however, the final selection of reviewers always rests with the Editorial Office. The Editorial Office may use a reviewer proposed by the author only if the reviewer’s professional competence and independence are ensured. The reviewer assesses in particular:

  • the article’s compliance with the journal’s focus
  • the professional level and factual accuracy of the text
  • the originality and contribution of the article
  • the adequacy of the methodology, if used in the article
  • work with sources and literature
  • the comprehensibility, structure and argumentation of the text
  • any ethical or legal risks

The outcome of the peer-review process may be:

  • recommendation for publication
  • recommendation for publication after minor revisions
  • recommendation for substantial revision
  • recommendation not to publish

The author is informed of the outcome of the peer-review process by the Editorial Office. If revisions are required, the author receives substantive comments or a summary of the reviewers’ recommendations. The Editorial Office may ask the author to supplement sources, clarify formulations, revise the argumentation, shorten the text, add an abstract, keywords or make other changes necessary for the professional and editorial quality of the article.

The final decision on publication of a text belongs to the journal’s Editorial Office, where appropriate in cooperation with the Editorial Board. Even positive reviewer reports do not automatically create a right to publication if serious editorial, legal, ethical or technical reasons preventing publication arise.

Duties of Authors

The author is responsible for the originality, factual accuracy and legal integrity of the submitted text and all accompanying materials. In particular, the author is obliged to:

  • submit an original authorial text
  • cite all sources and quotations used
  • not submit a text that violates copyright or the rights of third parties
  • list all co-authors who made a significant contribution to the creation of the text
  • not list as co-authors persons who did not make a significant contribution to the creation of the text
  • notify the Editorial Office of any conflict of interest
  • inform the Editorial Office if the text has already been published or is simultaneously being offered to another medium
  • ensure consent for the use of photographs, images, tables and other materials if they are not the author’s own work

The author is responsible for ensuring that the text does not contain knowingly false, misleading or unsupported information.

Authorship and Co-authorship

Authorship belongs to persons who have made a significant contribution to the creation of the article, its professional content, argumentation, research, analysis or final form of the text.

All co-authors must agree with the submission of the article. The author submitting the text to the Editorial Office is responsible for ensuring that the listed co-authors have been acquainted with the final form of the text and agree with its publication.

Persons who provided only technical, administrative, linguistic or partial consulting assistance may be mentioned in the acknowledgements, but not as co-authors, unless their contribution corresponds to an actual authorial contribution.

Duties of the Editorial Office

The Editorial Office is responsible for transparent, impartial and responsible assessment of submitted texts. In particular, the Editorial Office:

  • assesses the compliance of the text with the journal’s focus
  • ensures an appropriate professional and linguistic level of published materials
  • carries out editorial revisions of texts
  • protects the confidentiality of manuscripts before publication
  • does not provide manuscripts to unauthorized persons
  • ensures that any conflicts of interest are resolved before publication
  • handles any submissions, corrections, complaints or suspicions of publication misconduct

The Editorial Office decides on the placement of a text in a particular issue of the journal, section or form of publication.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers assess articles professionally, factually, impartially and with respect for the author. In particular, a reviewer is obliged to:

  • assess the text according to its professional quality, factuality and contribution
  • notify the Editorial Office of any possible conflict of interest
  • maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript under review
  • not use information from the manuscript for personal benefit before its publication
  • formulate comments factually and respectfully
  • notify the Editorial Office of any suspicion of plagiarism, duplicate publication or other publication misconduct

If a reviewer does not feel professionally qualified to assess a particular text or cannot prepare the review within a reasonable time, he or she informs the Editorial Office.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, members of the Editorial Office and members of the Editorial Board are obliged to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest that could affect the objectivity of the assessment, processing or publication of an article.

A conflict of interest may include, in particular, a personal, employment, financial, commercial, academic, competitive or other relationship with the author, reviewer, institution, topic or results of the published text.

If a conflict of interest is identified, the Editorial Office will take appropriate measures, such as selecting another reviewer, excluding a particular person from decision-making or adding transparent information to the published text.

Originality, Plagiarism and Duplicate Publication

The journal accepts only original authorial texts or texts where it is clearly stated that they have already been published and the Editorial Office agrees with their republication.

Plagiarism, unauthorized appropriation of another person’s text, unacknowledged use of another person’s ideas, falsification of data, manipulation of visual materials or other forms of publication misconduct are unacceptable.

If the Editorial Office identifies a suspicion of plagiarism or other serious misconduct before publication, it may reject the article. If such suspicion arises after publication, the Editorial Office will review the matter and, depending on its seriousness, may publish a correction, explanation, notice or a decision to retract the article.

Ethical Oversight and Work with Sensitive Topics

Authors dealing with topics related to health, therapy, the psyche, personal data, research involving humans, animals or sensitive information are obliged to proceed in accordance with applicable legal regulations and the ethical rules of their field.

If an article is based on research, case studies, interviews, therapeutic or counselling practice, the author must ensure the protection of privacy, anonymization of sensitive data and the necessary consents where relevant.

Articles must not contain irresponsible health claims, misleading recommendations or statements that could lead readers to postpone professional medical, psychological or other qualified assistance.

Sources, Data and Reproducibility

Authors of professional and scientific texts are obliged to cite the sources, literature, quotations and methodological information used to an extent corresponding to the character of the article.

If an article works with data, research, measurement, observation or professional methodology, the author should provide sufficient information to make it possible to understand the way in which the data were obtained and interpreted.

The Editorial Office may ask the author to supplement sources, explain the methodology or clarify the origin of the data used.

Corrections, Additions and Retractions

If a factual error, inaccuracy or other problem is identified after publication of an article, the Editorial Office may, after assessing the situation, publish a correction, addition or explanation.

In the event of a serious breach of publication ethics, plagiarism, violation of third-party rights, materially false data or other serious misconduct, the Editorial Office may decide to retract the article from the website or publish a notice relating to the published text.

Corrections and retractions are handled in a manner proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the specific case.

Complaints and Appeals

Authors, reviewers, readers or other persons may contact the Editorial Office with a complaint, concern or request for review of a decision. Submissions may be sent by e-mail to: info@eniologiecloveka.cz.

The Editorial Office deals with the complaint or concern according to its nature and seriousness. Where appropriate, it may request the opinion of the author, reviewer, member of the Editorial Board or another professionally qualified person. The aim is to resolve complaints factually, fairly and within a reasonable time.

Post-publication Discussion

The journal allows factual discussion of published topics in the form of letters to the Editorial Office, follow-up articles, comments, author responses or other editorially assessed contributions.

The Editorial Office reserves the right not to accept a contribution that is personally attacking, non-substantive, promotional, unverifiable, legally problematic or inconsistent with the character of professional and respectful discussion.

Copyright and Licence

Copyright to the article remains with the author unless demonstrably agreed otherwise.

By submitting the text, the author grants the Eniologie člověka journal consent to publish the article in the printed edition of the journal, in the electronic edition of the journal, on the journal’s website, in the journal archive and in related promotion of the journal.

For the separate digital sale of articles or other forms of further use, a separate agreement may be concluded with the author regarding the terms of use and any author’s share.

The author is responsible for ensuring that the submitted text, photographs, images, graphs, tables and other materials do not violate the rights of third parties.

Access to Content and Archiving

The Eniologie člověka journal is published in printed and electronic form. Selected articles, samples, information about issues and other content are also available through the journal’s website.

The archive of published issues is publicly presented on the journal’s website. For individual issues, basic information, the cover, table of contents and a brief description of the issue are provided.

The Editorial Office strives for the long-term availability of information about published issues, authors, articles and basic editorial rules.

Fees, Funding and Honoraria

The Eniologie člověka journal is financed mainly from sales of the journal, sales of electronic content, support from partners, sponsorship donations, advertising and the publisher’s own resources.

For the separate digital sale of articles, authors may receive a fixed author’s share under a special agreement.

Any fees, author’s shares or other financial conditions are communicated to authors transparently in advance.

Advertising and Sponsorship

Advertising, sponsorship or partner cooperation must not influence editorial decision-making, professional assessment of articles or the content independence of the journal.

Advertising or sponsored content must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content if such content is published.

The Editorial Office reserves the right to reject advertising or cooperation that is not consistent with the character, values or thematic focus of the journal.

Typy publikovaných textů

Časopis publikuje zejména:

  • vědecké a vědecko-odborné články
  • přehledové odborné texty
  • odborně-popularizační články
  • prakticky zaměřené texty
  • úvahy a mezioborové texty
  • recenze knih a odborných publikací

Vědecké a vědecko-odborné články procházejí odborným recenzním řízením.

  • odbornou úroveň a věcnou správnost textu
  • originalitu a přínos článku
  • přiměřenost metodiky, pokud je v článku použita
  • práci se zdroji a literaturou
  • srozumitelnost, strukturu a argumentaci textu

  • uvést všechny použité zdroje a citace

Autorství a spoluautorství

Povinnosti redakce

Recenzenti posuzují články odborně, věcně, nestranně a s respektem k autorovi.

  • formulovat připomínky věcně a kultivovaně

Originalita, plagiátorství a duplicitní publikování

Etický dohled a práce s citlivými tématy

Zdroje, data a reprodukovatelnost

Opravy, doplnění a stažení článků

Stížnosti a odvolání

Autorská práva a licence
